Texture + Treatments
Some hair needs moisture. Some needs repair. Some needs a little help behaving in Nashville humidity. True Blue’s texture and treatment services are chosen around what’s actually happening with your hair and scalp, from dryness and breakage to frizz, thinning or curls that need more control. Aveda Botanical Repair™, Nutriplenish™, Scalp Solutions and Invati™ treatments provide targeted care, while keratin treatments, silk presses, perms and relaxers give guests more options for managing or changing their texture.
Not your mother’s perm.
We base our prices on an individual’s education level within the True Blue Salon career path. We feel confident in recommending all our team members regardless of price.

Healthier Hair, Better Texture + Less Fighting With It
If your hair has become harder to style, there’s usually a reason. Color and heat can leave it feeling fragile. Humidity can turn a smooth blowout into frizz before you make it to the car. Dryness can make curls lose definition, and buildup or changes at the scalp can affect how the hair feels from the root down.
True Blue’s treatment menu gives stylists different ways to address those concerns instead of treating every head of hair the same.
For damage and breakage, Aveda Botanical Repair™ helps strengthen and repair compromised hair. Nutriplenish™ is the moisture-focused option for hair that feels dry or depleted, while Scalp Solutions focuses attention where healthy hair begins: the scalp. Invati™ treatments are also available for guests concerned about thinning hair. An Aveda Shine Treatment can be added when dullness is the bigger issue.
Texture services take that same individualized approach. A formaldehyde-free keratin treatment can make frizz-prone hair smoother, softer and easier to manage without requiring guests to give up their natural texture completely. Silk presses offer another option for smoothing and styling textured hair, with pricing determined during consultation.
And yes, True Blue still does perms and relaxers.
The salon’s stylists are trained to work with different textures rather than treating straight, long hair as the default. That matters when the goal is to smooth curls, add movement, work with dense hair or simply make your natural texture easier to live with every day.
